Interested in becoming part of the Oakland Run Co. Crew representing the Bay Bridge Half, Oaktown Half, Oakland Turkey Trot, our Field Trip Series to the Livermore Valley Half, Marin Half and our growing community? Do you like to help and inform runners of all levels? Do you love running and sweet race swag?
As part of the Crew, you’ll help spread the love of the Event. You’ll be a reflection of the event on and off the course. No matter if you’re a daily runner, a first time or veteran half marathoner – we want you on board!
What you’ll need:
Enthusiasm about the signature Oakland Run Co. events. Of course, the most important part of being an ambassador is that you’re enthusiastic about the events. If you love to run and love the community that the Oakland Run Co. events bring together, then this will be a good fit for you.
Good communication skills. Whether you’re online or offline being able to communicate with potential participants is key. We’ll provide you with the info so you’ll have a good understanding of the event in order to communicate it with future runners.
Connections in the community. Having connections in the community is important but these connections can be gained while working as part of the Crew. That means going to running clubs, running stores, gyms – basically anywhere where you can promote Oakland Run Co. This can be done both online and in person.
