In 2002, we founded the US Half Marathon across the Golden Gate Bridge in partnership with the 2012 bid to bring the Olympic Games to San Francisco. In 2019, the same team, now based in Oakland, worked with nearly a dozen entities over 11 months to make this dream, running the first half marathon across the Bay Bridge, a reality.

Our inaugural event was recognized by Runner’s World + Let’s Do This as the 3rd best global event of 2019

Ever since the renovation of the new Bay Bridge, we’ve had our sights set on a different type of event - one that bucks the status quo and features not only a one-of-a-kind round trip across our famed bridge, but a local, immersive experience with top chefs, merchandise, entertainment and so much more. Even better, it’ll always be Cinco de Mayo at the Bay Bridge Half.
